In an effort to combat fraud at Capital One locations, mobile authentication was created. Utilizing the enhanced security of a customer's own mobile devices, paired with identifying information within their Capital One app. Mobile authentication for Capital one enhanced authentication in Capital one branches & cafés.
A customers QR Code for in-person mobile authentication.
A branch associate scans a customers QR Code with an iPad app to authenticate the customer.
